GET TO KNOW YOUR SEWING MACHINE
In this class, you will learn how to thread and operate your own sewing machine. Basic operations will be taught as you make a simple tea towel to take home. Common problems such as jammed needles and broken threads will be covered. Understanding your sewing machine will give you the confidence to pursue projects at home or at GB Arts!
You may bring your own sewing machine, or borrow one from GB Arts.

ABOUT THE PRESENTER
Maggie’s mom taught her sewing at a young age and it put her streets ahead for beginning many years of sewing in high school. As a Meandering Maker, sewing is one of the many handcrafts in her life, including leather work, jewellery, fabric clock making, and knitting. And she still loves to explore new mediums.
